It was love at first sight. 💕 I bought 2, will probably get 2 more. I live in a 1,000 ft townhome built in the mid-70s. The laundry closet is on the 2nd floor landing and my Maytag set barely fits in there. I've been taking clothes out of the dryer and hanging them on doorknobs, which will only hold 2-3 of the plastic hangers I use. This is a BIG improvement! Now I have a convenient place to hang my clothes as soon as I take them out of the dryer. There's a button on the end to push when you want to fold it up. Pop this in your bag when you're going to visit that person with no available closet space (get those foldable clothes hangers too).

Even though this is exactly what I need for hanging limited clothes on the back of my bedroom door, it’s worth mentioning that it doesn’t fit snug on the door. When positioned in place, the fit is quite loose. This causes some clanking noise when opening and closing the door, but it’s not too bad. I’m going to try placing pieces of foam between the door and hanger to make the fit better.

There is some adhesive tape that is supposed to keep this from sliding around when installed on very slim doors, but it didn’t seem to work well for me (probably because I’m not tall enough to wipe down the top of the door before adhering it). Otherwise these are useful and I like having them around in case I need to increase drying space in my small house!

Hooks on top of door well, doesn’t slide or move when door is open & shut. Perfect to take clothes right out of dryer & quickly hang up. Would be great for extra space in closet, too.
