The item was nice and it fit the original spot but who ever design it need it to check the wiring and try to match it with the original item because for me to be able to turn it on i needed it to turn on the cargo lamp other wise if i turned off the cargo lamp the item did not turn on ( in other words this item did not function as the original) , other than that it was easy to install but i return it because of that

Excellent product, exact fit. Lights are much brighter. Best upgrade . I would highly recommend this light.

If the truck is off and you are attempting to use only the dome light in front the light will be very dim. If rear light is turned on they will illuminate even with the switches turned off. If the dome lights get clicked on they will illuminate as they are supposed to.

This only works when you open and close the doors. The manual switch for either of them does not work on its own to turn the light on. If you press either one of the manual switches, you can turn off and on the light from activating when you open the door. That is it. The whole point of these is to turn on to read a map or whatever for the driver or passenger. I have a dome light that comes on when the door opens and closes. Fit and all that was fine and it connected all up fine it just doesn't work the same. Kinda aggravated
