GREAT PRODUCT!!! Of course, this is made for the laboratory, however it has many uses outside of that like mine - to mix small epoxies without introducing air bubbles. This stirrer has a heavy-duty base with suction cups to hold it in place, and a 2--piece neck on top which mounts the motor itself. The motor is a LOT heavier than I was expecting - this is professional-grade equipment. Two stirring rods are provided - a stainless steel and a PTFE (plastic polymer) - the type of chemical or reagent you use requires different material. Overall very pleased with this product. Recommended!!!
