Ordered this O2 meter and went through the zero calibration per the small instruction sheet and the procedure resulted in a failed save. Repeated several times to no avail. Sent an email to Sarah at forensicdetectors.com and message was not accepted. Returned the unit to Amazon for a replacement and it arrived with the same issue as the first unit plus the up arrow key did not work. After pressing quite a few times it worked but sometimes it is unresponsive so I am going to return it to Amazon for refund. I am wondering if Forenic Detectors is a very small privately-owned company and does not like dealing with small use customers? I also purchased a CO meter and sample pump and they seem to work fine and the zero calibration procedure works fine. Going back to the O2 meter I used on my oil boiler and got a reading of 5.2 % which is in the range of what it should be but I am not confident it will hold up. One last item; Every time I turn it on the date and time seem to be off.

This is an oxygen tester. They are good for about a year of testing. Keep it in plastic to make it last as long as possible as exposure to room air will shorten their lifespan. We ultimately sent it back and paid for a professional to test our machines.

The info for calibration was very confusing . Also the battery info for recharging was incomplete. This is the first time I have been disappointed by things I have purchased from amazon. I think I will start looking for other sources for products I purchase online.

We use this o2 detector in all our activities that have Liquid Nitrogen to check for safety. It is easy to use, portable and got a lonng battery life. The backlit screen is a nice to have feature. small size makes it easy to transport.
