May not be able position branch initially as you wish, but re-adjust after a few days. They tend to slide down trunk a bit so checking and readjusting may be needed. Easy to slip on, one size does not fit all. Could last a couple of years 3 is recommended.

I wanted to train my young apple tree limbs to stay more horizontal but I found that many limbs begin to curve upward several inches out from the trunk. These branch spreaders are relatively short, and so were only useful for the limbs that immediately curve upward from the trunk. For those limbs, I found these spreaders to be very capable of putting downward pressure on the flexible limbs. I also found that if needed, I could reshape the shank portion of the spreader using a hot air gun to customize the angle at which it holds the tree branch. In all, I do like these limb spreaders for those instances where they are suitable.

These are basic plastic pieces that allow you to bend a smaller branch away from the trunk of the tree. I use these for my apple and peach trees and they do the trick.

These tree limb spreaders were way to short and not flexible enough in their application. Next time I’ll order metal ones
