Flickering is terribly unnatural and really obnoxious to the eye. Can't return because return postage to China way more expensive than the actual cost of the 3 sets of these candles that I ordered.

When we discovered we could not use real candles for our daughter’s wedding we were devastated. I ordered the flameless candles and to my surprise they were beautiful. The wax coating made them look very close to real and they gave off a beautiful glow. We never used the remote so can’t speak to that piece.

Used to decorate a repeat dance - not entirely sure of battery life as we've only used them for a couple of dances (about 4 hours each time). However, work great. Just pat dry to "turn off" and put in water to "turn on." Store away from heat as wax exterior could melt. Look very realistic, everyone thought they were real with no fire risk. Also, battery is replaceable. :-) Love them!
