I picked these up as I didn't have a set of picks available and recently had to risk removing a gasket using a small flat head screwdriver. While I was able to successfully remove the gasket, a set of picks/hooks like these would have helped a lot.These are pretty light weight, akin to a dental implement, so you may struggle with removing something like a rear main seal, but for light work, they'll do the job.I haven't used them for pulling a gasket yet, but they have come in handy when trying to thread wires in the dash, as I could hook the wire i wanted to pull through using this.I'll update this review if they aren't up for any particular task, but they seem like a decent set of utilitarian hooks/picks

These are one of those tools that are always nice to have on hand when you need to get a rubber seal or gasket out from a tight area. I used them to remove faucet seals/gaskets, garden hose and garden hose attachment seals.Worth having.
