Needed a pocket chart stand for my classroom. The bottom of the stand is flimsy no matter how tight I turn. Built the stand just by looking at the image because it did not arrive with instructions on how to build.The price is good which is why I purchased this item. Hoping it’s sturdy enough to hold a pocket chart…

I bought this chart stand for my classroom several months ago. I teach students with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities, so I have many levels of students in my class. I was extremely excited to use this chart stand to hang my materials for each of my students. However, over the past few months, this stand has been an eye sore in my classroom. It was extremely difficult to put together since the individual pieces would not tighten securely. Since putting it together, it has been impossible to keep it aligned properly (see picture attached). As sad as I am to get rid of it, I will have to find a new method of organization for the upcoming school year.

Assembly wasn’t as easy as it should be. It’s very hard to line the holes up just right on the top bar, so my end poles easily slide in and out instead of being secure like they should be. But, aside from that, it works good.

I teach Kindergarten and this holder is the best I've seen. I have two different pocket charts on either side.It's adjustable for height and on wheels. Also, it's very sturdy! Way better than a clothes rack!!!
