The price is not small, but it is a very necessary thing for installing Hardie panels.

Residing the 2nd story of my barn would not have been possible without these! Held the full weight of 4 x 10 sheet of exterior fir T1-11 siding with ease, leaving the correct gap between the panel and the z-bar at the bottom. Also served as a platform for sliding the panel to where I needed it. Allowed this 51 year old female to do the job myself instead of hiring a professional. It's a simple, but ingenious design. Will last a lifetime for any future projects. Well worth the money. Highly recommend.

Product felt cheap right out of the box the plates were mislined and not adjusted and it failed to open smoothly right out of the box

As nice as this would have been it seems it really only works if you want a large reveal, I wish that first plate was adjustable to go into the trim deeper, so it’s essentially useless on the first setting forcing you to use a larger gap under the siding.Hopefully will work good in the future with other projects but not for small reveals.

I have two pairs. Must have for stacking HardiePanel. Makes the job much easier and safer. Clamps right into Tanlyn Z-Channel. Letting you stack 8,9,10 foot sheets vertical safely. Sure it would also work for standard Z-Channel also.Trying to stack and space 4x8 foot sheets 5/16th inch panels is dangerous. Panels stacked at height are heavy and slippery. Anyone below could get destroyed. These clamps let you rest panel on built in 1/4 inch spacer, adjust, nail, remove and move onto next panel.
