This drain plug was purchased to replace the excising plug that was lost. Very easy to install. Great value for my money. The quality of this plug was exceptional and fit perfect.

I used these to replace another pair on an outrigger canoe that I had built. One insert on the original set had been lost by people we had lent the canoe to. I like these new ones because the plugs have to be intentionally unscrewed to be completely removed from the drain hole.

These fit perfectly in my 2006 Yamaha SX210. Much more reasonably priced than from Yamaha.

I restored an old 20 yr old Jon boat with this. The original drain was broken. Isealed the original hole with JB weld and cut a new hole for this. installed in minutes no leaks.

Bought these as replacement/backups for my 2015 Nitro Z6. Exact fit. Little disappointed in the delivery in that when I ordered them it said next day, after I placed the order it switched to 2 day. But the product is great.

Perfect fit! Only wish they sold them individually or just the plugs without the receiver to save a few $$.

I received two of these drain plugs. There is mold flashing on the plug threaded sections of both plugs that makes them feel rough during threading into the outer body piece. There is also some mold flashing in the thread interface area of the outer body pieces which made it a little difficult to reinsert the plugs when fully removed. There is an O-ring on the plug which interfaces with a very small "land" on the outer body. One of the units leaked water in this O-ring joint area, during a non-pressurized leak test (1/2" of standing water only). Additional tightening did not fix it in multiple tests. The leak rate was small but present. The other unit stayed dry in the same test. I like the concept of this valve, with the plug being retained when only partially opened. You will need to provide your own seal gasket or silicone seal for the boat-to-outer body interface. If I clean up the mold flashing, I expect the plug will thread in and out a little more smoothly, but haven't tried it yet. I can see no clear reason that the one unit leaks around the O-ring, except untrimmed flashing under the O-ring on the plug. The concept is good, but the quality of the plastic moldings is sub-par.
