Worked great to mount my camera to record basketball games. Lots of adjustments with the ball and really smooth moving the camera around following the action.

This Panoramic Ball Head with a handle is a great addition to anyone's tripod setup. This Ball Head is sturdy once locked onto the tripod and very smooth to move and the included handle is worth the money as it makes moving the head around much easier and smoother than just attempting to adjust the camera on the ball head itself. The included bubble level is also very nice to have to make sure you are level with your camera although nowadays most mirrorless cameras have a build in level function its still nice to have an exterior visual aid on the ball head itself. The included clip is also very nice and holds well to any apparatus you connect to this whether it is a phone, camera, or even a telescope although I don't have a telescope to attach I can see it would be steady. This is a very good Panoramic Ball Head and would recommend it to anyone looking for one to add to an existing tripod.

The Panoramic Ball Head with Handle All Metal CNC Ball Head Camera Mount is built well enough but remains a mystery why they did so. This does make turning a light stand into a tripod for a quick shoot. It’s simple to use an adapter with this, attach and run with it.It’s almost entirely metal which is always good. It looks slick with accents of red or other colors. But, some of the features are very odd. I’m not sure why it has a bubble level on it and it’s positioned in a way that you could almost never use it unless you position your camera vertically. Even then, you couldn't adjust the camera as it's hard rotate it in this position.Rarely, do I shoot pictures that way. Even if I did, I’d prefer a camera ball head that could be adjusted with a level where it could work both ways. The quick release takes a little getting used to. I found that sometimes I needed to lift up the camera to get it to slide onto the plate. It does not lock in place. It has to be screwed down in place. The rotating 360 is smooth but do you really need to turn your camera 360? That has a little locking lever that I first thought was just an attachment but then later realized it’s designed to lock in place.I see this as largely something that works but the bubble level that is just stuck on the side is something you will rarely if ever use. The thing is, if you’re never going to use it, why are you paying extra for it?

I got this to use with my mirrorless camera and my cell phone. The construction is solid, all metal, and the panning movement is very smooth - it feels like a fluid-filled mechanism, even though I don't think it is. Like most ball and socket heads, it really isn't meant for smooth tilting actions while videoing - the head is either tight or it is wobbling around. The tightening mechanism works well. The page gave me the idea that you can attach your cell phone to the head directly - you can't, you need a cell phone holder with a quarter inch screw. An odd detail is the bubble level on the knob that tightens the camera plate to the head - you can only use it when the head is tilted vertically and you intentionally place that knob in the top position - not very useful. It is an improvement over the ball head I was using before, so you will see it on my lightweight tripod moving on...

I like this ball head in that I can have the camera at any angle and move it easily. The build quality is good and it is all metal (I’m still not sold on some of the carbon fiber equipment which seems to wear out and not hold after awhile. I still feel all metal is superior and I expect it to last a long time). The plate is solid and locks into the ball head easily and securely. I also like that there is a plate. Ball heads that just have a fixed screw are difficult for me to deal with. I always look for plates that are able to be used in other heads as well, and this one fits other heads I have. The handle is good and has a nice grip. The price point is very reasonable compared to other ball heads I have. Something I really appreciate with this head is the size. It is a little smaller than some of my other ball heads. While I use the larger ball heads for the larger cameras, having a smaller one is perfect for point and shoot cameras which is all I need sometimes. I also like that I can use this smaller ball head on rigs that are not tripods; like top down rigged shots or cameras I have rigged to machinery. It’s a perfect size and not heavy like the larger heads. Definitely 5 stars and recommended.

Ordered this Dmiditir tripod usage ball head as I was looking for a heavier quality model to use with my DSLR camera collection with either tripod or monopod mounting setups.Let me be quick to say that this is an impressively made accessory that I believe most hobbyist & even pro level photographers would appreciate having in their gear bag. It is a heavier piece, which comes with an optional tilt/pan lever that one can either choose to use with the ball head or remove, depending upon preference; I think this is a welcomed design feature as there are times with one might prefer to operate the mounted head differently -- either by holding the camera or, alternately, by using the available tilt lever. The ball head is designed to work with Arca Swiss attachment plates (one comes with the unit); I successfully tested it with an available separate l-bracket that I had on hand. The function of the ball component seemed consistently smooth without a sense of grittiness/stickiness. Photos will show that the head can be placed in either horizontal or vertical mount configurations & there is a degree gauge at the base of the ball head for reference while panning with the product. The ball head is made to mount to a 3/8" tripod/monopod male adapter. I believe the price point for this well-manufactured head is competitive & I highly recommend it.

Bought this and install it on my old tripod and it saved a lot of dollars spending on a new tripod.
