I've used this lure many times and it's still holding up. I catch largemouth bass, perch and bluegill. It's fairly light and I fish it on an ultra light spinning rod with 8 lb. test. It's pretty much a spinner and swim bait combo lure!

For all the people who are complaining that it dosent run upright or true maybe try not useing a swivel. Mine I cast out curious how it looked in the water started I quick retrieve so I could get it in viewing distance but caught a largemouth before I could see it. Later I have seen it looks perfect to me the tail didn't seem to so much paddle as impart a wobble on the whole lure

I've caught perch and bass using this lure. I would recommend it as a fairly affordable lure. The silver one seemed to work the best for me, followed by gold, then rainbow.

When I first bought this lure I thought it looked awesome, but when i used it, it was so light I could barely cast in 10 feet and the minnow spins around like it's dead on my hook. I havnt caught nore have I got a nip on this lure which is a real shame as I liked the design.

Had doubts this would swim well when trout fishing...but could onlu use on non-trout lake. Had struck out on panfish and bass until I used this lure. Both types struck so hard it was darn near impossible to get the lure out of fish's gullet. The bluegills were good size, the bass small ..but not on a decent lake for bass.

I'm surprised ! When I received it I was on the fence it looked a little cheap and I didn't use it for a couple trips but much to my surprise I used it the other day and I castes it out twice and nailed a 2# large mouth bass so I guess I will be using it more !
