I purchased this after my U-joint failed on my 2000 Chevrolet Silverado going down the highway and the vibration of it failing at highway speed vibrated the transfer case so badly this adapter snapped in half and dropped the transfer case down luckily on the crossmember instead of the ground so I was able to install this and get the truck back up and running.

Ordered first one. Alumium housing cracked on inside. Sent back and got another one. Same thing. These should be checked before shipped out. Prob been sitting on self for awhile.

I ordered the “used- good condition”, the one i received showed no signs of previous install. Was in new condition, just no GM box. Appears to be authentic GM.
