Looks good, works, doesn’t cost much.

I dislike the top shape of this headshell. Because it has two angles it makes it difficult to correlate the proper tracking angle of the cartridge. Also I dislike the connecting wires, are too long, too stiff and the female end needs to be widen otherwise it wont fit into the pins of cartridges. This requires special tools which defeats the expectation of quick connects.

Its metal, not plastic. Painted grey. Checked its metal with ohm meter! Std 4 pin plug. Works with Ortofon cartridge and should be fine with most other 1/2 inch mounts.

Looks good, works good, great price, what more can you say! Listening to a Shure M91ed I just purchased a new stylus for that I have not listened to in 30 years. Ahhhhh.

Well made straight forward headshell but does not include any mounting screws for the cartridge and wire end sleeve contacts easily slip off the cartridge pins when installing.

Finish feels better than on my original Technics headshell. Wires were a nice snug fit and worked just fine. Bought this so I could have another cartridge dedicated for 45s and records in rougher condition, and it has worked out great. I can just swap headshells, adjust my tracking weight, and have the right stylus for the job regardless of what I'm listening to.

I bought this for an inexpensive spare cartridge. Easy to use and functions as it should. My only caveat is that it's finished poorly, especially at the front edge where its rough and uneven. In other words it's cosmetically challenged. I wont buy it again but I wont return it either.

It`s perfect, ground pins made a little longer so they make contact with tonearm connector first, simple but smart. My two other head shells despite being made by famous manufacturer doesn`t have that feature. connecting wires somewhat beefier than usual, gold plated connectors with heat shrink tubes, color coordinated. Silver sparkly paint.Looks great but I`d prefer unpainted version for a buck ot two cheaper.

Exact copy of my AT headshells. No problems with connecting wires. My only complaint is this did not come from Parts Express, nor USA (as in Needle Store USA). Shipped from Canada, so expect it to take some extra time to ship (took me 12 days). Otherwise, well worth the wait. Excellent.

I purchased this headshell to use with a new ortofon cartridge for a Realistic LAB329 I bought at auction. I chose this headshell instead of ortofons because the price was1/3 as much. It shipped promptly, I hooked it up and it works and looks great. Can't imagine how it could be improved on.

The headshell itself was a good item and exactly what I wanted and would have been perfect ----- had it not arrived with very poorly soldered wires whose insulation wasn't even crimped onto the connectors as it should have been. Soon as I started trying to plug in the wires they started breaking off, but I will say the head shell itself is a nice piece, I just got a badly soldered set of wires. I emailed the seller asking if maybe they had another set of wires they could send but the did not and to their credit issued me a prompt and courteous full refund -- so I give them an A for good customer service. I don't think the seller intentionally sold me a bad part, just luck of the draw sometimes and this was my time-- Its a good headshell with gold connectors on the tonearm side, but if you buy one check the wires closely, and even if theyre bad you can remove them and attach another set of wires onto the contacts and all will be well -- Its a nice shell if you get a good set of wires.
