Replaced a Kenmore pump that had lasted for years, but the washer was failing with an "OC" error code displayed.Several great step by step videos of the repair is available for study on YouTube. They also suggested purchasing the special spring pliers for removing the tub gasket. They were so right, it made that spring go off and on a breeze. In addition you will also need screw driver and nut driver, plus some channel lock or other pliers to handle the hose spring clamps. The gasket around the pump that seals the gap between the pump and mounting structure is slightly oversized to provide a very snug fit. Tighten the mounting screws so the pressure on the gasket remains even.Has been working well for a few weeks now, with no issues.

I have replaced it and it worked for 5 month only! Original lasted since 2017 til July 2024, 7 years and this broke in 5 month, waste! Do not buy!

It was easy to buy the right part with the description and even tho it's not the same brand as the washer I have, it fit like a glove and has been holding up great

Our LG frontload washer wouldn't drain and displayed an "OE" error code which signified the drain was clogged. This was not the case as we could hear an issue with the drain pump when the machine tried to drain the water. Installation is not difficult, but it does take a couple of hours and requires removing the top of the washer, the control panel, detaching the rubber gasket and door lock, removing the drain filter from the front of the machine, and finally removing the front panel. The drain pump connects to the housing assembly in the lower left corner of the washer housing. It is best to keep the housing assembly attached to all the appropriate hoses and try to only remove the drain pump from the housing. I think there are three bolts that hold the assembly to the washer housing and then three screws that attach the drain pump to the drain housing. Make sure to place the included o-ring on the drain pump before installation. The hardest part of the entire installation process is getting the spring clamp reinstalled on the rubber gasket that connects to the front panel. There is a specialty tool available for ten dollars. No issues thus far with the new pump.

After trying two other pumps from other Amazon sellers (that failed either within minutes for two days later) this one from Partzboys worked perfectly. Much better build quality than the others and was the same price. Saving this seller for other parts I may need down the road.

Fast delivery. Item as described. The other reviews are correct. This pump is louder than other pumps and for some reason the manufacturer made the front should longer than the original. This makes the cover more difficult to put back on and is slightly skewed but still works. Will update if the pump doesn't last as long as it should.
