Instruction
This lampshade diffuser is easy to install and only needs to be placed on the bottom ring of the lampshade. In addition, it is widely used in DIY lighting projects. It was a tiny bit small for my "Arc Floor Lamp for Living Room" that I also bought here. I stuck together three pads of these double stick tabs that I bought at Dollar Tree. I left the cover on the top one so it wasn't sticky. I did that three times then I stuck those on the shade at 120 degree angles to each other. I lowered this diffuser onto the tabs. It doesn't look strange and it has stayed in place for weeks. I think it is a permanent solution. I like how it changes the light. The coloring in the photo is based on the LED smart bulb setting. It could be white if you want.

So I have an arc lamp that is 16.5 in wide and I wanted to diffuse the light so that it’s not too harsh for people sitting under the couch. I bought the 16.5 even though it says it’s for 17-18 inches (I think their estimates are wrong). It fit perfectly in the grooves of my lamp where the bottom ring used to be to give it shape. Worth the money, does not dim the light and it looks more classy and elegant!

Perfect! I got this for aesthetics so I didn’t have to look at the hideous lightbulbs under my one barrel ceiling light. I bout it about an inch larger than the opening of my lighting fixture and it bent fairly easily to slip up into the fixture.

The item works well and fits as described but the quality control is awful. It came with tons of scratches on the front and back. It's also too expensive for what it is. If you can just buy a plastic sheet from a hardware or art supply store at cut this yourself.

This is ONE diffuser WITHOUT a center hole for almost 30 bucks. Its THICK. Not sure why anyone would want it so think, just turn off your light. 🤷♀️ Not worth the money and would not recommend. I couldn’t even install it. If I tried to put a hole in myself, I would crack the entire disk.

I believe it was advertised as having a pre-drilled hole in the center, which it did not have. I had to drill it for it to work on the floor lamp it went on.

As some customers point out - it comes with scratches - but that’s the protective layer that you have to peel off - use a sharp knife to get a start and then it’s super easy
