The material and clamps on this shield are of good quality. The heat is distributed as promised. The 4 star rating is because it does not appear to hang straight down. This makes it appear lopsided.

The installation was kind of awkward. Had to bend the brackets to fit the top on my heater but I made it work. It works suprisingly well. It does exactly what it claims and probably a little better.

The design of the clamps does not allow the shield to be properly installed. Also, this seller does not accept returns like its competitors do.

These reflectors are not the prettiest things to look at, but work GREAT! The panels are easy to put together and easily install on the heater. The brackets that secure the reflector to the heater are the thumbscrew type that are very secure, not flimsy clips like those I have seen on other models I researched before buying. The lack of gaps between the panels and heater dome means that the heat really radiates in the area you want it to. I don't use nearly as much propane with these reflectors installed as I would without them... If you're going for style points, this might not be the item for you, but if you are looking to stay warm, this setup works great!~V

The Shield's direct heat towards you and instead of having the heater on high I'm able to keep it down to half and still get the same amount of heat.

a little bit of a pain to assemble, easy to install once assembled, works great (can turn the flame all the way down where I used to have to run it from medium to high). Careful of the two bottom corners when you're walking around the heater; I added a little duct tape at the corners to mitigate any accidental encounters.

The heat reflector redirects the heat so I use about 25 % of the propane I used to use.Make sure you position the reflector on the opposite side of the patio heater plastic control knobs.
