Face it - hardware fabric is expensive. This, however, is priced nicely, and seems to be as good as the more expensive hardware fabric I've bought in the past. It is relatively easy to work with, and gives you a good predator proof cage when finished.I'm giving this 5 stars without reservation.

It’s quite discouraging to start vegetable seeds, plant them in your garden, and then discover that animals have feasted on your crop before you are able to enjoy it. While this product is marketed as “chicken wire fencing” I found it be very useful in fencing “vulnerable” garden vegetables.The mesh works perfectly to protect produce from rabbits and other critters. I also like the 24” height of the fencing, which makes it easy to reach over it harvest what you’ve grown. Another big bonus - this is galvanized fencing which essentially means its very rust resistant, important when your fencing is in the elements and actually watered frequently along with garden produce.As a nice bonus, the fence comes with a set of gloves for safe handling. I’d prefer leather gloves that are less easily punctured by wire ends, but their gloves are useful. The description says the "hardware cloth" fence may be cut with “scissors” – I did not try that. I used wire snips which very easily cut the fencing to my desired length.Bon Appetit!

This Pauleen brand hardware cloth is sturdy and durable. It is well made and easy to install. It works well for chickens and even horses. I like to use it in combination with post and rail wood fencing to make it difficult for small animals to get in the horse paddocks. I'm sure this fencing will hold up for a long time.
