Bottle is blue, but fluid is the good ol yellow. And Yellow is the new green. Clear as mud, I know. Before you buy any coolant, no matter the brand, check to make sure whatever you buy will work. Unfortunately universal really doesn't mean universal. This should work for any car that calls for the green fluid, but even then, I would double check what your vehicle calls for. There are lots of new formulations and they are not compatible with each other (Especially Dex-Cool) so do your homework before you buy whatever fluid you buy.As far as this goes, it works great. It's already pre-mixed so you don't have to blend it with distilled water to get the mixture right. This is great to keep in the vehicle for top-ups.

It's nice only needing to keep one coolant around for all of my cars. I'm using it in my wife's 17 Explorer, my 95 S10 my turboed 95 Civic and my daughter's 03 CivicI can't speak to the long-term performance of the coolant yet, but PEAK is a reputable brand that's been around for a very long time. The pre-diluted 50/50 mix is convenient for quick top-offs, but concentrate is much more affordable for a full flush of the coolant system. The embittering agent is a nice addition, otherwise coolant is sweet and animals will drink any that's been left out, with lethal reults.Good coolant from a good brand and a good value. It's in my vehicles and I'm keeping some stocked in my shop.

This bottle of antifreeze appeared to be genuine and of good quality. I had to flush my radiator and put in new coolant as it had not been done in a couple of years again. After pouring this in, the car has not had any overheating or other issues related to the cooling system.

I did not know till I received this antifreeze that reading the bottle does not state and show it had been testedto certified to SAE, GM, Dex-Cool or any other vehicle makeAlso does not state if this can be mixed with other brands that are in the coolant systemDoes not make clear working correctly with aluminum coolant systems, so I will not take the chance using thison my 2000 Corvette that has Dex-Cool certified antifreezeMaybe fine with older vehicle designs ?

I'm very pleased to have found this antifreeze that can be used on any vehicle, whether it's gas, electric, or hybrid. And no more guess work to mix it, just pour when my vehicle needs it. This is an easy and preventative maintenance measure without having to go to the auto shop. It's also compatible with any other color or type of coolant. This will be my go-to antifreeze/coolant in the future.

But I still like to do simple things by myself. Flushing a radiator and filling it back up should be one of them. So I ordered this pre-diluted mix because then I do not have to worry about how much water to fill in afterwards, and all that. So I'm happy to say that I feel much better now having changed out my radiator fluid after these ten years with this fresh stuff and I could be really sure that the mixture is right. Perhaps it is silly, but for amateur and ignorant non-car guys like myself, this is a comfort that a name brand anti-freeze is available in this ready-to-use mix.

Why would you buy anything else? Remember back in the day when there was only one king of Antifreeze and all you had to worry about is whether it was 50/50 or not. Well, this stuff works for everything which is just what I want, I don't want to have to keep three different antifreeze types for my different vehicles on hand in case I need to top one off. Also this brand contains an embittering agent called Denatonium Benzoate so dogs, cats, wildlife, and children won't drink it. Denatonium is the most bitter chemical compound known to man, Dilutions of as little as 10ppm are unbearably bitter to most humans and animals unlike the old green stuff that tasted sweet (so I'm told I never actually tried it) and dogs used to try to drink so this is safer around kids and pets.

I ordered this just to have as a backup. It's always good to have things like coolant, washer fluid, oil, etc on hand just in case. Better have and not need than need and not have. This is nice because it says it can be mixed with any color antifreeze. I have both European and Domestic vehicles, so the flexibility to be able to use this in any vehicle in a pinch is a great feature for a backup option. I'm not a chemist or engineer, but I would still prefer to mainly use coolant designed specifically for whatever vehicle it's going in, so I don't know if I'd use this as a primary option, but it's perfect for what I will be using it for.
