The ad says these are 10 x 12. They are not. They are about 9.5 x 11.5. That is important if you want to use them for something 10 x 10 or 9 x 12. I ordered two but I will return one of them,because they are useless for those sizes.

It is the first one I have seen that meets my needs.Some are plastic that snap back every time it is opened, make it hard to put paper or take them out.Some are too flimsy.Etc.This fits the bill

These expanding files are a MUST in our office for record keeping. We put a lot of papers in each monthly slot and store the file for each year for tax and auditing purposes. They are sturdy, the elastic closes them up nicely, and by labeling each, we know exactly where to look for an item we may need to scrutinize. Have never had one fall apart.
