The local big box office supply store closed, and I couldn't find any expanding wallets, so I ordered these. They are much much thinner the the ones I used to get the the brick and mortar store.These are ok if you are going to use them to store records that you may not look at again. If you are going to repeatedly put things in and take things out, look for better ones. These won't last.

The slim 2” thickness was just what I’ve been looking for. I compact my files to the minimum as much as possible to save space and most of these types of expanding envelopes are overkill thick. Perfect for the short trips to the tax shop, stopovers at the library, and routine commutes to the office. I even compressed my entire estate planning portfolio enough to fit with other folder full files in my portable file case. Hope they keep making them. Got manuscript projects lined up that will need them.

I wish these were made of a thicker, sturdier cardboard. They're good....but not great. But for the money they work fine.

An excellent way to organize my manila job folders in my truck for various phases of construction projects. Sturdy enough to last but economical enough to replace if they get damaged or lost
