Easy to install and came out really nice over my kitchen island. Its not the most fancy but its also not overpowering I did not want to draw too much attention to them because I do like the clean look of just the pot lights but the wife wanted something to hand down over the island. It works and the the way the glass covers work it allows maximum light without any shadow.

We chose this light to replace a fixture with frosted glass that was looking dated. This definitely is a very nice improvement!Although the dimensions of each fixture option are included in the listing pictures, they are also somewhat deceptive with the scale of the room and table. We chose to go with the 4-light fixture, expecting something a little beefier for our large dining room. After looking back at the listing, we validated that the details are there, but still believe the example pictures look photo-shopped. Half a star is being deducted for not having more consistent to-scale pictures.Installation was fairly straightforward for two people, and the included instructions were acceptable. We tried different lengths of the metal rods combination and ended up going with the 2 longer ones. This was a nice custom touch! And a nice alternative to adjusting the chain length. Where the wood attaches, the screws are flimsy, and every time we moved the fixture as we were threading the wires, it would loosen a bit, requiring the horizontal metal rods to be realigned before tightening again. They were never loose enough to fall apart, but still annoying that they wiggle, which will always be a problem when cleaning. Attaching the wiring to the ceiling was a little bit of a struggle to manage all of the wires. Having a second person to hold the fixture is a requirement, unless you are very resourceful. Half a star is being deducted here, too, for the flimsy connection of the wood and metal bars.We chose to use dimmable Edison yellow filament 4W LED, 2700K clear bulbs and they are quite bright when fully illuminated, which is quite bright at eye level, but great for task lighting. We have them set at 50-75% brightness on our dimmer most of the time. Overall, we are quite pleased!

I got this "Modern Dining Room Light Fixture, 5-Light Kitchen Island Lighting Hanging/Chandelier Over Table Farmhouse" for my dining room and so far I like how it looks with the darkened wooden + metal texture.I do have complaints regarding installation, which is not easy. There are a lot of cables that need to be tucked into the small housing, which I found difficult to do and it took me a while. However, once installed, the whole set looks stylish. Tip: I highly recommend using this light fixture with filament bulbs for the look. The price is also reasonable.Overall, would recommend it.

Let me start with we do light the way this looks over our dining room table. This provides much better light over the fixture we are replacing with this one. This style is also very similar in design to other fixtures we have so that is also a plus.Assembly is fairly straight forward. You will have lighting cables going up both rods instead of just 1. On one side is a 3 wire copper (with green ground cable) that will go up 1 side & the other side is a 2 wire aluminum. There are quick connectors that will be under a metal plate used to combine the middles to the center. The wooden (yes this is actual wood!) center then goes over this & is held in place by 2 plastic round nuts. There are 3 metal rod sets, 2 of the 3 are the same length & 1 is shorter. The hanger portion is currently screwed into the shorter pieces. For our 8 foot ceiling, after lots trial in lengths decided on 1 long rod was the correct height. We can still adjust some up & down with the chain by adding links from another chain we have or subtracting if we need it up a bit higher. This is not too heavy with the glass removed to hold up by 1 person while another is wiring things up & then mounting the top ceiling plate. There is plenty of wiring to use with the longest rod options. The included bracket is good & not super flimsy. If after this is hanging & looks a little sideways, unscrew one or both of the top chain pieces & rotate 180 degrees so is hangs straight down & the chain is not inducing a twist.Once we had this mounted & made sure it was square, we then added the glass. I would suggest using gloves to keep from getting finger prints on the insides if the glass as cleaning the inside is kind of a pain. Even with my larger hands I was able to screw in the plastic nuts the holds the glass in place (the glass dud turn wilt my hands until fully secure). We have this on a dimmer. I think we are going to go with a warmer bulb (2700K) over the 4K bulbs we purchased to use with this. This provides great lighting, looks good & fits the style of our furnishings & other lighting. So far so good & we are happy with this fixture, easy of assembly & mounting.
