I had a four foot wide strip by my landscaping that I needed a low shade seed. I sowed this seed in October and it stayed warm enough that it all came up. It's January right now and it's covered with a foot of snow but it was really green and full when it sprouted.

The stuff was great. I started to see little sprouts after just a few days. It grew in super dark, green and thick, and it actually grows better in the shade than in the sun.

This was enough seed to fill in my many dead patches of centipede grass. I'm in louisiana, and it grew quickly, was enough to fill in my many spots. The color and texture match my existing lawn perfectly.

I bought this to deal with some patches in my front yard. I roughed it up with a rake, put down the seed, sprinkled soil on top and kept it watered daily. Popped up in 7 days and after 14 days looking good.

You can count me among those who had the experience where not one blade of grass grew. Not ONE. Had better results one year where a scattered some seed I found at the dollar tree. I don't know if it's a combination of things. Ie: seller, time of year, zone planted in, etc. But for reference this was used in August in zone 7b, no trace of any growth whatsoever
