There is nothing wrong with this heater, other than it turned out to be way too small for the task. It was never installed, as the technician said it would take days to heat my large spa. The return was handled well, with a reasonable return fee for a large piece of equipment still bundled on the pallet it arrived on (needed to round up a truck and a couple of strong backs to drop it off at the local UPS store). If you have a small spa/pool this might work for you, but I'd double check with a knowledgeable installer before you try to save money and get a heater that won't do the job at hand.

Have had heater for a full season and it has operated flawlessly. Install was very easy and comes with per wired whip for 120v.Does not seem to throw enough BTU with variable speed pump over 2500rmp turning pump speed down below 2500 it throws heat to our 14x28 inground pool to heat it. It seems to raise water temp 2-4 degrees per hour depending on water temp.

The blower motor failed after 13 months. Pentair customer support is horrible! They requested a technician provide a diagnosis, which I did, and they still denied the replacement part, which is $600. On top of it, the heat exchanger is already leaking. $1700 wasted, never buying a Pentair product again!

Just purchased this heater back in June and had it installed professionally last Thursday. It heats up my 24' above ground pool great. However out of the box it makes when the heater is running most of the time a high pitched sound (seems like coming from the fan). I called Pentair for support and they only cover the parts for a year and do not provide any technical support. You need to pay a professional to come look at it and diagnose the issue first. Worst customer support I've ever seen.

Great product. Working fine fir us until now no problems. Just when you get it if on the side says lp means liquid propane. If not means natural gas. By mistake get wrong one and they replace it right away. Discounted pool service great costumer service. Thank you

Very simple to install. It is a replacement for our 40 year old Pentair unit that started leaking 2 years ago.

Heated my 21 foot round pool fast. Can't wait until spring of 2024 to test it out to warm it up and get an early start to swimming.
