Good for Heavy vehicles. Not good for jeeps or off-road rigs that move slow Work better after they warm up/get hot. Most street pads work best when cold and don’t stop as quick when hot. These are the opposite. I have run PF pads on tow rigs and BIG 1995 Impala SS with factory calipers. These pads will throw you through the windshield!!! They stop so fast you better check the rear view mirror to insure traffic behind you can get stopped…Before I found these pads, was using metallic pads, warping rotors and replacing them constantly. Heavy vehicle, towing applications PF pads cannot be beat= the pad material formula works/stops you better as they get hotter. Every other street pad is designed to work better when cold and fade when hot.On cold mornings, the first couple of stops = take more distance.Have to be “bedded”. After I install, get to 50mph hard stop to 10. Do this 10x to heat up pads and transfer pad material to rotors. At 20-25k miles may notice slight pulsing when stopping similar to warped rotors. Repeat process of bedding. What your feeling is different friction levels on rotor where pad material has worn off.

These are great brake pads and the price at Amazon can't be beat. The first pair I purchased at the local auto parts store. I run them on both of my trucks.
