I used a black steel impact socket prior to this. The nylon exterior is superior. It fits my impact gun perfectly and doesn’t mark up the wheel like my old socket.It tightly grips my lug nut, but is also lightweight. It’s easy to take on and off. Some of my lug nuts are short, so using this to start the threads is helpful before using the impact. The color also stands out and makes it easy to find. Overall, I couldn’t be more pleased with how well this works.

I used this socket to change the winter wheel on my 2 cars and it works as expected.To easily remove the white plastic cover, just hold it with one hand and give it couple spins with the impact tool. It came out right away without any effort and did not have to scratch the socket.

Used it to replace an oil pressure sensor on a motorbike with a super tight fit, had to remove the plastic protector to get it thin enough but it was easy to removeNot sure how durable it is but I'dbet it'd remove lug nuts without much drama

This would still not fit for my application unless you take off the white protective plastic, but this caused some rubbing on the rims while using it

I had to replace two of these. They broke after about a year and a half of daily abuse with an air impact. Not bad for a thin wall socket. After use the outer sleeve became loose and can fall off. Simply removing it and wrapping a little electrical tape around the socket and re installing the sleeve over the tape fixes this.
