Will fit on your mower drain plug. But must be specific to this size. 3/8" drive socket, 8 point (also known as torque socket) in 7/16. Wish I had

I want the safest most reliable tools when working with garage door springs. You can use open ended tools on the square set screws, but I don’t. An open end or Crescent wrench can slip off but a socket on a ratchet is much less prone to do so. Measure your set screws to get the proper sized socket. They are not all the same. And watch at least six yt video’s before working on your garage door springs. Done properly it’s safe but done haphazardly you can get hurt or killed.

8pt socket. If you need it, you know what your looking for. This will work. Seems quality, but have only tapped out 2-3 engines worth or head bolt holes. See if it holds out as long as the Snapon one did.

The socket works fine for my purpose which is adjusting the brakes on my 1930 Model A Ford.It is a lot easier and more convenient than using the wrench made for adjusting the brakes especially the initial adjustment after repairs to the brakes.
