I have a large torx bit kit that went all the way up to T60 and never had a need for this socket until I had to drain a Subaru transmission. Rather than gamble with a T60 this is one of those sockets you wont need often but will save you the once in a blue moon you actually run into a T70 bolt/plug.

I had to get a T70 for my tool collection, since my preferred brand only went up to T60. I have gotten Performance Tool products before and they are okay. This T70 socket in particular is one of their better quality items I've bought from them, though the darker, working section of mine had some non-vital shape imperfections from the factory. If my preferred brand ever makes this, I'll probably get it to replace this and pass it on to the next person, but this is built strong enough that I'm sure it will make it to that day if it ever comes.I'm giving it a five star rating for what it is, not in comparison to anything else out there. I got it at a good price and the quality is above what I'd expect for that price.

The packaging is very difficult to remove.The packaging is excellent to hang the product in the store, very secure!But unfortunately the hanging is not the only job the tool has to do.I needed my tool set to remove the beast that was attached, including cutters, chisel, hammer, etcThe chopped pieces were flying all over, needed safety glasses... dreadful.And the picture on the product page on how to remove the packaging is wrong, very different packaging arrived.I guess teh invest a lot into packaging, better they would invest in making the tool better.
