Customer didn’t want a full line replacement, used the compact cutter and it worked flawlessly. Cut clean, and was easy to use and small size made finding a home in the box a breeze.

It cuts SS brake lines perfectly as long as you don't overtighten it and just let the tool do the work. The cuts were clean and needed almost no dressing before making the double flair.

First of all, this came with no instructions. Strike one. Secondly- the unit is complete garbage. One roller ball sticks. The screw for the cutting wheel comes loose after every cut. And worst of all, the clamp is wobbly, and moves side to side, causing your cut to “walk” horizontally on you as you’re cutting, it literally will not stay in place. You’d honestly be better with a hacksaw if that tells you anything. Extremely frustrating and will be retuning this piece of junk!

Cutter was able to get through stainless tubing, but the reamer did not last long at all, and developed a notch... so instead of removing flash from the stainless steel tubing, the tubing was cutting into the reamer tool.This might not be an issue if you're using this cutter with something softer such as copper tubing, etc.

Tested on some 1/4" and 5/16" Al tubes and this tool cut them quickly, effortlessly and accurately. The rollers held both sizes very well. Good tool.
