Good for the price but I needed one that would be a little easier for my mom to see with low vision. This one did not fit that bill because the buttons are all embossed or raised. No labels.

The MP3 CD player worked for a while and it was very good sound but suddenly it just stopped working after about the second time. Fresh batteries nothing. Too late to return it so I'm stuck with a dud. Find a different model if you're going to get one.

I purchased this CD player as my job allows me to listen to music and the radio, but I can't use my phone for security purposes. My MP3 player is an older model that has a battery that drains easily, so this was the next best option for me. On the first day I used it, I noticed that the radio works fine, but I found that when I play a CD, there is a short buzzing like sound that happens approximately every 10 seconds. This was noticeable when listening to an audio book, but not as much as a music CD. Also, I noticed that the battery life indicator was constantly fluctuating. I put in fresh new batteries on the first day I used it, and all throughout the day, the battery life indicator would show the battery had full power to half power to none at all, then back up to full power. Toward the end of the second day, the LCD screen was flashing a low battery life indicator. The CD I was listening to stopped playing twice with a rather loud popping sound in the headphones. (At least my old Sony Discman stopped with a tone and the LCD screen saying "Lo Batt"). I listened to the radio the rest of the day with the low battery life indicator flashing the whole time. On the third day, i listened to CD's the whole day on low volume. Toward the end of said day, the low battery life indicator began to come off and on. This CD player allows for an AC adaptor power source. I found that the radio works fine using this, but the CD player will not work at all. In the end, I feel like I purchased a radio, since the CD player drains batteries faster than most other CD players, and is not compatible with the AC adaptor. At this point, I am either going to need to look into rechargeable batteries or buying a small stereo. The headphones supplied do not give the best audio, so your best bet is to buy your own and use those instead.
