I've tried a bunch of wires for my first generation Chevy 350. I didn't have much luck with cut to fit wires. Several of my crimps failed, and I found it impossible to locate replacement connectors for points style wires in this HEI-centric world. Generic auto parts store wires worked, but they were way too long, and I had wire flopping everywhere.This is the first set I've tried that fit well. I got them to install along with a Pertronix distributor, and I really like how they fit. They're long enough, but not too long, and the whole works just looks nice. The engine fires, and I no longer have loops and coils of excess wire to clutter things up. I think they really are pretty close to an actual custom fit, as in somebody really looked at a points-distributed Chevy 350, and designed a set of wires to fit that comfortably, but were sufficiently flexible to have a wide application across all variations. They're not an ultra minimal cut exactly to the perfect length fit, but they're a good out of the box one size fits all SBCs fit.

Beware of the advertised 500 ohm per foot. Two sets had wires that measured over 3K ohms with my Fluke meter. I have returned two sets of these due to out of tolerance wires. Other than that the wires are well made and are replacing the same Pertronix wires that have been on two of my cars for ~13 years. I contacted Pertronix and the only way they would replace a wire was for me to drive there to exchange. Heck with that! I'll just return through Amazon and reorder until I get a good set. Poor customer service from Pertronix as I contacted them about this issue. They acted as though they did not believe me!
