This item is okay. I don't think it's the best I've tried but is useable. I have large hands and it doesn't stay on my hand very well. I did not feel it removed hair very well. Although it is advertised for cats, it works on my dog too!

My dog loves it. It reminds me of the old Miracle Clothes brushes. The back side is split in two with the stiff nap going opposite directions so that no matter which way you rub it on your pet, it removes loose hair and dirt. It is easy to clean by rubbing your fingertips across the grain. It didn't come with any directions but was easy to figure out.
