Only thing that my dog will allow to put in her mouth is my finger with this on and it helps to at least keep some of the plaque & tartar from building up - highly recommend, especially for little dogs, but just as good for big dogs

My dog won't allow me to even put my hands anywhere NEAR his mouth or face but these are pretty easy to use & quickly swipe a finger in his mouth & around his teeth. He still gets a bit squirmy but, since I'm not having to try to hold onto a brush or tool of some sort while wrestling him to get it in his mouth, this is WAY easier to maneuver & manage!

I love these finger brushes. As opposed to the plastic finger covers, I can actually feel my dog's gums through this fabric finger cover. It's more comfortable for him than the plastic one. I have washed them by hand, in the dishwasher, and in the laundry with no problem.

I have 2 chihuahuas and had been using a tiny cat tooth brush on them. They love the tooth paste but hated the brushing, it was always a fight. I wouldn't say they now love the brushing but they're more willing to let me do it. And it's easy to feel their teeth through this little finger glove to make sure I got all the sides of all their teeth. And you can wash it out and rinse it really well to keep it clean. I can see the difference, their teeth are a lot whiter now. My dogs thank you and I thank you.

Not sure how effective they are but they work well for me. I purchased these as I've been trying to find effective ways to incorporate more teeth brushing for my 7 lb dog. I've tried cat toothbrushes (because he's a small size) and finger toothbrushes and of course, he doesn't like it. The finger toothbrushes are a little hard to use because they are larger than my finger (so they are loose and slip when I wear them) and they are a little big for his mouth. He loves to chew and I thought these might help. They do work, I followed the directions and then as he started chewing I was able to get all of this teeth. It was a little difficult because it was wet which caused them to stretch a little so they started to slip, I removed a star for that, but overall, they do work.
