This is perfect for securing the retractable leash. I like that I could adjust the band around my wrist, the material is not scratchy and it feels very durable. I had to wrap the strap around the leash handle twice because it was a little too long for my liking. Lacey pulled the leash out of my hand once before but with this, that's one issue I won't have to face anymore when I walk Lacey. I also like that I don't have to have such a tight grip on the leash handle

One of my best purchases in years. I have a young, strong great Pyrenees and recently had my knee replaced. Pyrenees have a tendency to bolt when something catches their eye and I have lost hold of the retractable leach on more than one occasion. This strap secures him to me and has saved his life multiple times when he tried to take off after a car or another animal. He may pull me to the ground but that's a small price to pay to save something you love.

This is great. When I go for long walks in the woods my dog likes to run ahead and explore. Sometimes he gets a burst of energy and he can surprise me and I've almost lost the lead a few times. He's still a puppy and I'm still working on recall so I'm not sure what would happen. With this, I don't need to worry. If he yanks it out of my hand, it's still secure. Great product.

absolument super ! handicapée, mes mains ne sont pas certaines de tenir une laisse trop longtemps et cette sangle me permet de promener mon animal en toute sécurité ;-) je l'ai choisi en bleu. Un peu chère quand même mais très utile ;-) merci ;-)

When my wrist hurts this gives me a little bit of confidence that my six month old German Shepherd puppy will not get out of my hands if the retractable leash gets wet or my hand get sweaty or she catches me off guard. This is perfect and has a soft padded inner side… I like that the carabiner has a little twisty lock on it. I will keep the review five stars unless it fails.

When you walk any dog always have your wrist locked on the leash. I groom dogs for a living so this little strap helps me. When I have other peoples dogs to walk for a wizz, I clip this onto whatever weird leash they have because even if they pull me down I am not losing them.

We bought this leash with the hope that we could walk our dog (~35lbs and moderately well leash trained) while walking with our baby in his stroller. The idea for this works well but you still lose the ability of using one hand on the stroller. Instead I tried attaching it to my wrist and let the leash go to regain use of both hands. Overall this worked well so long as your dog doesn’t pull too hard (spoiler alert: ours did a few times). You also may need to stop for a break to allow blood flow back to your hand at times. Therefore, you can see the concept of this is fine but if you’re purchasing in the hopes of walking your dog with a stroller and being able to still use both hands it’s works it has its flaws and is not always super comfortable .
