I got this retractable leash for my cat who walks on a harness and likes to explore. The 30 ft length of the leash is perfect for a curious cat to explore without getting free. The leash is heavy-duty and doesn't feel cheap at all. It seems of very nice quality. There is a button on the leash handle that will lock the length of the leash but you have to keep the button held down or the leash will unlock. It would kind of be nice to have a button that can lock in place so that the leash can remain locked if need be but it works fine for the purpose I needed it for. My cat loves the freedom of having a 30-foot lead.

This retractable leash seems very well designed and made of strong materials. It's very similar to those made by a German brand that I love. I've had no issues with the cord sticking or tangling.I deliberately got the retractable leash that's rated for up to 110 lbs, because I want to know that my dog can pull some and the leash won't break. I would never use a retractable on a dog that is a strong puller, but my 65blb Boxadorski is 10 years old has gotten more sedate.

I ordered this because the one I have for my Shih Tzu is getting frayed and I’m afraid she’ll pull it apart on her walks. So, the weather finally warmed up enough for us to go take a walk. Initially when I unboxed it I thought this is going to be way too big for her harness, (she only weighs 10 Lbs.), but it actually worked great and she loves the extra reach. The way you lock the lead is a little different than most of the retractable leashes, but easy enough to get used too. Sadie Mae gives it two paws up as well.Takeaway: Recommended – This is suitable for large and small dogs. My Shih Tzu loves the extra reach

We have several retractable dog leases to accommodate the three dogs we have. A couple of 16 foot, one 20 foot and now a 30-foot leash.I have to admit, I like the 30-foot leash the best by far. The dogs like it too. We live on about 20 acres with a busy road that runs in front of our house. We have to keep the dogs leashed to make sure they stay out of the road, but they can roam as far as the leash allows walking through the fields and woods.This 30-foot leash is in a plastic housing only slightly bigger than the 20 foot one we have, just longer. Instead of a flat strap for the leash it has a super strong nylon cord that is much thinner than the normal strap meaning it coils up into a much smaller space.It actually makes walking three dogs at once easier since one of them can venture far out making the tangles they get into less complicated.This PetiFine leash is well made and though the cord is thin, it's very strong. It has a rubberized hand grip and like most, a locking release button.I have found everything about this leash to be top quality in design and construction. Would definitely buy again.

We have a 35lbs Corgi, Kobe, and his old leash is getting in need of a replacement. Order this one as it stated medium to large dogs, 30 - 77 lbs. Coming from the older leash, this one is huge, and a bit heavy. Should be better suited for even larger dogs, say 50 and over rather than all the way down to 30.Whats good about it:+ The length: it is looooong... which is great, now our little Kobe can wonder even further away, great for curious little furry friends.+ The main retractable part of the leash is round. Our previous one was a flat leash. This one seems to be better. In the first uses, the retraction would get a bit stuck, but with use, it works without any issues.+ There is a first section, about 2 foot long, of flat wide leash section. This part does not retract, it is better than the regular retractable leashes when walking close together.Whats not so nice:- Size, it is a bit bulky, specially for smaller dogs. There is really no need for such a robust body for a 30 lbs dog. This is not really a problem, other than having to carry a bulkier leash.Good product overall.

My brand name one is nice, long and the ribbon kind, but the ribbon has gotten caught and stuck a few times, so that's annoying.I went to the ribbon after getting rope burn with these corded styles, but thought I'd try again due to my frustration with my ribbon one.I find myself picking up this one in favor of the ribbon one pretty consistently. The dog has a longer rope and luckily I haven't gotten any rope burn with it, although it's winter so not quite shorts weather.It is a bit bigger than my other, but that's fine with me, it's about the same weight. Another thing that I like is that it has jammed a few times on me when the dog went full speed ahead, but it was very easy to unjam each time. Just pull back on the gray thumb part and it releases the black button. That to me is important and I've had a couple jam up and then become unusable afterwards.This is a great, high quality leash and I definitely recommend!
