great lights exactly as stated on the Peterson factory website they are supposed to have 9 LEDs - I run numerous style Peterson LED trailer lights and they are the best I have found

Three prong connectors!!!!!!I have given this product a three star review because of lack of pictures and information. The PM 856 and the PM 856L ( L stands for an additional light that lights up the license plate. Which happens to be the left light if looking at your trailer from behind it.)I bought this light as a exact replacement for both my PM 856L and 856. ( both of my original light were cracked but functional when I boat my boat trailer.)My trailer wiring and original 856's lights have a three prong connector. ( you would know if your does). I read other reviews about these having the connector. I figured that because it was a exact replace to this one, it would also have the three prong connector. IT DOES NOT.Because there's very little wiring sticking out from my trailer to the three prong connector, I had to splice the wires and attach the old three prong connectors. This changes the dynamics from two possible corrosion points to four possible corrosion points. That being said, the lights were a fair price, Peterson MFG corporate office was very friendly and helpful, the product is good.

Shipping was fast, they were easy to install. They came with plugs but my trailer didn't have them, so I cut the plugs off and used butt splices and filled the butt splices with silicone. Very bright and easy to see, love them!!!

Had a pair of these on my boat trailer and one got broke. These led lights are bright and I didn't need a set so replacing one was the way to go. Also a good price.

The LED tail light V856L is not what is pictured. The picture shows 15 (lit up) in the center, in actuality it only has 8. It still is a bright light, just not what is shown.

The light in the picture is not what I received. My old light had seventeen leds and this light has nine. It also doesn't have the pigtail attached so I have to splice the wires onto my pigtail. You would think with it having the same number and manufacturer as my old light it would be the same. Wrong answer it is a very cheap imitation of what my original is, the only resemblance is the back housing which is the same but the rest of the light is a cheap piece of junk. I will have to use it as i am leaving on a trip and my old one is broke. My recommendation is order something else. I wish I had, because for the same money I could have gotten a seventeen led light only in a different brand. This one is not nearly as bright as the old one, 9 leds vs 17 leds. save your money and get something else. This light should sell for $10.99 not what they are asking for it.

I needed a replacement for a light that broke on my trailer and most outlets sell them as a kit online I didn't think Amazon would even carry this but they did and I was able to score free shipping to boot as well as a low price. Gotta love it. It's an easy install, just connect the wires and they provide heat shrink tubing to keep the water out.
