I wanted something to cover the litter box so kitty wouldn’t flip litter out. And it covers up the box so you don’t see the litter or poo. Made of sturdy hard plastic and it just sits on top of the box, no hard clamping or attaching.

Overall this is a MUST have for one of these litter boxes. Great value for the money. VERY easy to install and uninstall, literally just clips into place. Helps to minimize those smells and keep them localized. The size of the lid is specific to the model, so be cognizant of that when ordering! Not quite opaque, but the material is not entirely see through either, it’s a plastic textured lid.

Keeps the litter inside the box instead of litter being thrown out the sides. When you change the tray you have to remove the hood. Was a little annoying to get the hood initially on but you have to really push down at the front corners to snap the hood in place and make sure that the back of the hood is placed properly or the hood won't snap in.

It fits perfectly on the automatic electric cat litter pan. I should have ordered it when I originally bought the litter pan, but at the time I idnt think it was needed. Or thst the cats woul use the pan if it was covered.They o use it with the cover over their heads

Works well with my automatic cat litter box. I need it to keep the dogs out of the litter box. I still have to put something on top so they can't move it.

It came broken. But the 3 stars is for the actual product. It doesn't stay in place most of the time. It doesn't make much difference keeping the smell contained. I just have to fight keeping the cover in place.

I got the scoop free self cleaning litter box without the cover to save a little bit of money but learned the hard way that it is much much better with the cover.
