These zipper templates/rulers are a simple tool, but they certainly serve a purpose. These appear to be accurately scaled, and they're actually kind of pretty! They are clear with a rainbow glitter, so if you care about the look of your tools that is something to consider with these. The numbers and other markings appear to be printed on, but they are clear, and it seems they were printed on substantially enough where you can feel them so I believe they will wear well. The rulers are thick enough where I believe they will hold up to years and years of service, and I can see myself using them for a very long time.

I'm learning how to sew and I am so thankful to be turned on to this tool. They're easy to store and can make the difference between an ordinary zipper install and one that is carefully planned, crafted and executed. If you're into the smaller touches, this is a good tool to have in your tools and supplies.

The listing for this item implies that there is a curved version of the zipper template and it even shows it in one of the photos. Unfortunately, this just includes two of the same rectangle template. I don't really need two of the same template, so it's disappointing that the curved one isn't included to provide more variety. At least providing two different sizes of the rectangle one would have been better than having two of the same.The ruler has glitter in it, which adds fun sparkle, but isn't really necessary. The numbers are fairly light and difficult to read, but I don't think that's a big issue for me because I plan to use the template as is and I can afford to ignore the measurements anyway.

I'm reviewing "PH PandaHall 2pcs Zipper Making Templates, 8x0.5 inch Clear Zipper Template Acrylic Zip Pocket Template Patchwork Ruler Sewing Tools Set for Beginners Curve Bag Zip Pocket DIY Crafts Sewing Accessory" which I received via the VINE program.I do a lot of sewing and have started making bags with zippers. I got this template set to help with that. They are rectangular instead of curved as listed in the description. They also do not come with any instructions for use, but most who purchase these will already know how to use them.I am not a huge fan of the imbedded glitter, they could have been made with clear acrylic and would be easier to read the markings. Having said that, they don't detract too much from use.These are good templates and I'll be using them a lot!

After messing up, Lord knows how many zipper cuts, I finally bit the bullet and got one of these. To my pleasant surprise, this thing is kind of purple with a lot of glitter in it and it was not what I was expecting and I'm not really a glittery kind of person but I guess it works. It's whatever it's just looks.The functionality of the thing is great because it's very robustly built and there's two of them so I don't have any complaints there.

Something that could be so useful is made so difficult to use with the glitter and light blue markings. Clear and Black markings would make this perfect. This might work if it is on black fabric, white fabric will also work. But almost any other color makes it most difficult to read.I really do like this concept. I would like this to come in a 1/4 in opening option as well as the 1/2 inch. I use hidden zipper pockets in my purses, handbags, and wallets I also will do welted pockets in jackets. The colors make this difficult to use.

This is a pair of rectangular zipper templates. The outer sides measure 10 inches/25cm long by almost 2 inches wide. The inner cutout, the template part, measures 1/4 inch wide by 8 inches long. Both outer and inner lengths are marked with the measurements with one side using US standard and the other using the metric system. The sparkles are cute and they make the templates easier to see, but they also make it a little difficult to see the measuring lines. An extra hole is drilled into the acrylic on one end, so the templates can be hung on the wall if desired. While the item title states "Curve Bag Zip Pocket", both templates are rectangular in shape - there's no curve. Even so, they are well made and deserve the 5 star rating. Since I make a variety of quilted and suede purses to order, I'll get a lot of use out of these templates.
