I use these test strips to check the PH of my urine, water and anything else that you would like to know the PH balance of. They work like a charm and you get a good amount of them for the price. As a nurse, I recommend these. They are the same ones that we use in the doctor's office.

The reason I’m not happy with the purchase is: there are 200 strips. When you read the whole box, the last line says “it is recommended to use up as soon as possible after opening.”Am I supposed to do 200 PH tests within a month? Six months? A year? What happens when I wait too long? Inaccurate reading? Just stops working? It’s extremely vague…If you are relying on these for anything vital (your health, pet’s health, plants, etc) I would suggest not buying these. As far as I can tell, there’s no way of knowing how long they will work or be accurate.I’m not sure why they wouldn’t seal them separately, explain exactly what “as soon as possible” means, or AT LEAST disclose in the description on Amazon (if it was there, I didn’t see it) how soon we’re supposed to use 200 strips.With that said, I used one strip and it was easier to read than some test strips I’ve used. I have to give credit where it’s due.

These are extremely good for my application and every cost effective.They are very accurate also and when results are compared to a Hach lab calibrated electronic meter there is essentially no difference for my needs. A difference of 0.025 doesn't matter to me Those are is the Ph a 4 -5, 6- 7, -8, or higher or lower.I am using them as a quick go-no go test of the the Ph level of the effluent at an environmental remediation site to determine if small adjustments must be made to the treatment process.We have had an unexpected acid issue arise that sometimes requires us to adjust chemical adjuncts between different stages in the neutralization process. Your strips give me the information I need in less than 20 seconds that the $2500 Hach meter takes 15 minutes.The speed of being able to make a treatment adjustment decision is very important. these Test strips let me do that and use lesser trained staff to do quick checks.I will update this review with a video if our clients approves its due to confidentially aitly clauses I can show you a photo or video of them in use without authorization.

I'm new to testing body PH but have much experience testing aquarium water, which falls in the same PH-and-other-stuff endless testing. (I see that same "matchbook fish strips" being sold for body PH testing but decided on these because I need to be accurate for health related issue. I'm not fish water..)I loved how this was packaged - the can hold 100, the other 50 and 50 are in 2 sealed packs. Great for travel or keeping fresh until you need them.I testes these 2x - once on urine and once on tap water to show here. I like that the chart has so many clear graphic choices. Other strips sometimes give 5 or 7 blurry choices and good luck trying to figure which micro-shade you match to or why there seems to be 20 same-orange shades. We are not bees who detect minute ultraviolet colors. It was easy to match these used strips as the color blocks are large, crisp and vibrant.Strips are plastic. The color blocks are large. I cant tell you how nice it is to have large, clear PH test results and nice, clear, accurate color chart to match it to. ( I guess I just did tell you!)These give PH from 0 to 14 which is why I bought them. Most go only from 6-10. Ideal PH is 7.5. Cancer and other illnesses can plunge PH to way, way down to 1 or 3 amd other issues can register 11 or 13 (a relative's PH hit "2" with cancer) It's important to have such a wide range like this product does. It not only give your PH but also range of "very acidic "( not good!) to " very alkaline ( not good!) with incremental, readable resultsbe good to yourself...drink lemon juice in water daily and get these if you're looking for PH strips.
