This is a very attractive clock-radio for your nightstand. I bought it to replace my Sony dream machine because it had started to malfunction. Both products are attractive looking, but that's where the comparison stops. The Philips FM Radio Alarm clock is not intuitive for programming the time or favorite radio stations. The instructions that come with the radio-clock are not clear nor easy to follow. So if you're looking for a pretty prop for your bedroom - buy this radio-clock. If not, give it a miss.

I was excited about this alarm clock because it has all the features I was looking for. However, I can’t get the radio alarm to work. I’ve set the station that I want, but the alarm just plays static when I set it to radio. Thankfully, the alarm volume starts low and then builds up, which I really like. It’s also pretty light and cheap but for the price it does the job.

This little guy does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's a little cheaply made for the price but decent enough. The instructions are absolute garbage, you are better off googling instructions than trying to decipher what comes with it

Looks better in real life than in the photos. Mirror front is not really as reflective as you think. Really a nice appearance in the room. Live the three stage dimmer.

The instructions for setup are useless; it's a pile of pictograms straight out of something Ray Bradbury might have imagined. Philips sent pages of written information re the warranty in multiple languages, but when it comes to making this hunk of plastic work like a clock, they couldn't be bothered to provide written instruction. I kept going back to it for several days, attempting to make it tell time, and I have not been able to figure it out. My husband can usually figure these things out, even without instructions, and he couldn't get it to work either. Philips can have their "clock" back. I don't need a forty-dollar doorstop.

I was a little worried that the time would be hard to read with the mirrored finish, but it looks amazing in person. It's very lightweight, and super easy to set up. I do wish it had a USB-C plus instead of an old-school USB-A plug, but it's not a big deal.

Very pretty, but not too pretty for a man. My brother liked mine so much he asked for one in his room. Compliments my white marble countertop very well. I havent tried it w the batteries, but its good to have as an option in case of a storm. I have to have it on the brightest to see the time because I have a 65 inch tv that gives off great amounts of light. Other than that, loving it.

This item arrived with the incorrect plug and wire on for the UK electric system. It has been illegally sold and I am really annoyed.

It’s meh. I would return it if I hadn’t gotten rid of the packaging. The radio alarm gets louder the longer it is on. I can’t figure out how to change this or if it’s even possible, I just want a normal radio alarm. The instructions, as many people have noted, are quite poor, and the controls are not super intuitive. The antenna is a long wire which I’m not a fan of. The one redeeming thing is that it looks very nice and sleek, but otherwise is difficult to use and again the radio alarm thing is super annoying.Update: I’m getting rid of it, for all the reasons above. It’s terrible.
