This design seems to be an incredible oversight because the mechanism of the release lever fails to disengage the locking bar that would have allowed the lens to detach freely if it worked as intended, no matter what I do I cannot twist the adapter free from the lens regardless of how much I twist and engage the release lever. This product is incredibly disappointing.

I received some of my grandmas kitstar lenses and I wanted to try adapting them to my DSLR, and this adapter works perfectly, as far as I can tell there is little to no image quality degradation.

I wanted to use MD lenses on my Minolta X-700 manual camera with my EOS 5D Classic. So I bought an MD-EF adapter and as soon as the delivery arrived, I tried shooting with the camera body and MD 50mm 1.4 lens and Macro 35-70mm 1:3.5 Lens. One thing to note is that the 5D setting only allows shooting in full manual mode. You need to practice focusing the lens. Thick in colors are great and the sharpness is also good. Adobe DPP does not display lens information in RAW format photos. It is an interesting and fun product. I am very good, satisfied.

I purchased this for my Nikon lens to attach to my Canon. I attached the ring, but I don't think I did it properly and now I cannot get the ring off of the lens. Trouble shooting forums don't address this. If anyone has a suggestion to get it off, please let me know!*Edit* The company reached out and informed me that I was to push the release button down. I was attempting to pull. The attachment came off immediately and did not destroy my lens.

Works very well in my 55mm and 200mm MC Rokkor lenses. Well made, fits snugly and focuses to infinity. However, with my 35mm lens, the rear element runs into the adapter before reaching infinity focus, and I can only focus at 3 meters and closer.
