I was looking for a wireless, easy to set up, and compact printer that doesn’t take up a lot of space and this printer is perfect for that. The print does not take up much room and the best part is I can set it up only when I need it. It prints my paperwork in black and white and the paper is easy to tear off. Instructions are included and are easy to follow. Bluetooth and their app are required if you want to use it on your phone, but you can also use their USB cord to print from your computer, an application will need to be installed on your computer for that, but the download process is painless. I’ve only printed text documents so far, but everything has printed out clear and no smudging or too many streaks. I charge it using my computer and the full charge takes about 3-4 hours. The printer uses thermal paper on a roll, so it’s different than regular printer paper. As for the paper types, you can use roll paper, sheets, roll paper, or folded paper. Overall, I was impressed by this little printer, and it’s been so handy to have around. I would recommend it, five stars!!

The print quality was good and the overall size and portability of it was impressive. You could easily fit it in your backpack and go to work or school, it is just as easy to turn on, connect and print from. My only issue was that it prints out in one big long page almosy like a scroll. it would be great if there was a feature where it would pause in between each page so that you could rip it off and than after that it would continue printing.The speed isn't great but the portability makes up for that. It also came with a roll of paper included.

This printer is amazing! I want to be clear that I may be biased because I have some type of printer killing curse on me. It does not matter what printer I buy, for some reason it dies almost immediately. After my last Canon did not work for more than 21 days, I stopped printing things at home, which is very inconvenient. I saw this and decided to give it a chance. I am so GLAD that I did. It is easy to use and very easy to set up. It comes with a roll of paper and is completely portable. This is the only product I have ever used where the app you need works perfectly at once and over time. The design is compact and efficient. It will fit in your laptop bag if you need to bring it with you. Because it is inkless, you do not need to worry about ink levels or ink drying out if you do not use it immediately. They claim the paper will work fine for up to ten years (meaning if you put it in the printer it will still work, not that it is an endless supply for ten years). I have not been able to test that claim, but everything else has been true. This printer is a good value and you can easily purchase more rolls of paper. Because it is a roll of paper, whatever you printed will come out together on the roll. There are obvious page breaks and there is piece of metal you can use to rip off the paper just like on a foil box. 10/10 I am so IMPRESSED with this printer. Perhaps the curse is lifted!!!!

I now own 3 different Phonemo thermal printers so fully trust the brand's quality. The apps, the build quality of the printer, and the print quality are all excellent. This one has a decent print speed and creates clear and crisp thermal prints.The range of the Bluetooth is perfectly adequate for printing to a printer nearby, it you won't be able to walk away from it mid print.One thing to note about thermal printers is the prints can fade over time (years), so if you are printing documents that are to last for years or decades you would be better off using a laser or inkjet printer. For on off prints of items to be scanned or of short term use it is perfect! I used this one the other day when I needed to present a hard copy receipt for a customs agent. The app made printing a PDF take only a few seconds.

I got this to use for customer invoices and keep in the truck and I absolutely love it, the customers love to be able to have something they can touch and feel and the print quality is so good, so professional looking that id use it for lawyer documents.Out of the box the quality is real nice, its sleek, lightweight and darn near fits in my back pocket... I keep it in the glove box in the truck in -30c outside and it turns on, fires up and starts printing no problem.I opted for the sheets instead of the rolls as it looks better imo.Print quality is CRISP, lines look great, theres no over-bleed or anything else which is quite impressive for a thermal printer, it literally looks better than my ink printer I have at home..Phomemo app works FLAWLESS, A++ to the developers, its user friendly, takes literally seconds to load the document onto it.I use it wirelessly with bluetooth and connection is seamless.The battery life on this thing is INSANE! ive printed well over 100 sheets and still havent charged it from when I first got it...Very pleased with it, will be getting some of these for my crews to keep in their trucks.

Listen up Phomemo:Make these thermal printers PRINT FROM PC VIA BLUETOOTH. It can print from mobile devices using an app, so why can't you install the drivers via USB then just use Bluetooth for printing?I understand there may be some technical limitations to do with formatting and fonts, etc. but the thermal label printers can print via Bluetooth from PC, and if I'm honest, I don't see why there should be some insurmountable issue with doing so in A4 size.Handle this issue and you will immediately be doing something better than everyone else. This is a common thing with thermal document printers. If you can get it working, everyone will want YOUR printer.Now that that is out of the way, this is a great document printer. For me, all I ever need to print is documents and shipping labels, mostly tech and entry forms for races and track days, so something like this is a big headache prevention device, since I print so infrequently that my inkjet printer dries up before I need it again, which means replacing the ink and cleaning the print head. Since thermal printers don't need ink, and thermal paper is inexpensive, this is a fantastic replacement for anyone who only ever needs to print documents like me.It even handles transparency, which I didn't think it would! I printed out a race entry form which had an item circled, and inside the circle was a transparent colored background. The printer dealt with it no problem, greyscale shading over the black lettering. I was concerned it would just print a black circle, so things like pie charts or graphs with percentages etc. would work just fine as well.Setup on mobile is simple, just download the app (this is covered in the included quick start guide) and start printing. For PC, you have to plug it in to a USB port using the included cable, download the driver (also in the instructions), and start printing. Loading the paper (included) is easy, the orientation is indicated inside the paper roll space in the printer, so it's obvious which direction to load it.It's not the fastest printing in the world, it took about 20 seconds to print the two pages of the document I tested with. It pauses between pages, long enough for you to tear each page off as it prints. You can also use thermal sheets instead of a roll, but rolls are more convenient in my opinion, though sheets would make it certain that each page would be separate. The roll paper will obviously have a tendency to come out curled, but I just roll it the other direction once and then it sits flat.The text is clear and properly formatted, no funny stuff with spacing. I would be interested to see how it would handle images, but that's not the purpose of a printer like this. I'm sure images like line art, simple logos etc. would be fine, but obviously anything with color or more complex gradients wouldn't work out well.Overall, I'm really happy with this printer, but if they can make one that will print from PC via Bluetooth, it will print money for them (figuratively).

I have used thermal printers for years I have 3 other thermal label printers and even a $15,000 Gerber Edge that prints in color. I am a big fan of the technology, mainly because of how low maintenance it is. No toner or ink cartridges. ‘The thing just works’.At first I was a little scared off by how complicated the instructions looked but it couldn’t be easier and just took a minute to download the app and connect by bluetooth to the printer. The printer can run on battery power, you can just charge it up via USB-c. My battery was too low so I connected it to a cordless tool battery and it’s running off of that which makes me very happy.You can select any document or image or even create your own with the app. There’s an AI art feature which I used to create the “man setting up a printer” image that I submitted with this review. It’s just as easy as finding a document (iOS) and clicking the share button and then select the Phomemo app. All very user friendly.You can also selectively print pages from a multipage document in the app. It’s a little tedious if there are a lot of pages because you manually deselect the ones you don’t want but it’s possible to do and easy.The print quality is very good, even the images (for a thermal printer).Now there’s one thing that I just don’t know and that’s whether the printer can be used by other apps or if the Phomemo app were to go away and sadly I have not found any that will detect this printer and use some generic driver for it. So like many products these days, if the app goes away we might be left with a paper weight. But for now it works and I would recommend it.

Such a handy little printer. I love the fact that I don’t have to buy ink for it. It’s portable and easy to use. I do t print often but when I need to print I have this Little printer.
