I’ll be honest, the low price (at time of purchase) had me a little skeptical but the set I got sounds excellent. If you like the filtertron/gretsch, or even single coil sounds, and are curious, these are very worth trying. I personally dislike the look of the mounting ring and was able to just build around it really easily so no effect on review.

I put it on my grote archtop, instead of the p90. Sounds really great. I'm a big fan of p90s, but this pickup worth the try.

This is the clearest-sounding pickup I have ever played. I thought it would be a joke and I installed it in a cheap squire strat. But I was wrong this guitar is now amazing with the longer scale length of 25.5 inches as compared to my other Gretsch with 24.5 inches
