…. My exercise arsenal. The box seems to be built well enough and durable enough to hold weight, and last for some time to come. There is slightly less padding than I would have hoped for. They did put padding on it, but in my opinion, it’s not quite enough. So if I were to suggest one thing it would be to add a little more padding to the top of the box, for comforts sake.

Bought it to add to my Pilates sanctuary to increase the exercises I can do. The side handles are flimsy but seem to be secured well.

I'm ok with this, definitely not thrilled. Seems sturdy enough, and zero odor coming from the material. It is not padded very well, I'll need to lay a padded mat of some sort on it for comfort. It arrived damaged, there is a tear little more than 1 inch in length. Must have happened during manufacturing as the Pilates Box was wrapped in bubble wrap, securely packaged within a box, and shipped in an Amazon box (no damage to interior packaging or shipping box). Too much of a hassle to return and re-order due to the approaching Christmas holiday. If I had more time I would definitely return it and spend more money on a higher quality Pilates Box with better padding.

Are you in the market for a Pilates sitting box? Are you trying to find the best bang for the buck? If so, DWKWE has what you need! The Pilates Reformer sitting box is an all-in-one piece of equipment designed to sit atop your reformer machine to give you a platform for Pilates exercises.It is made of a single layer of plywood, and wrapped in a thick polyurethane leatherette. The leatherette is strong, flexible, and sewn with a high-quality thread securing it to the box. Underneath the leatherette is a sponge material that flexes with weight applied. The corners of the box on top are rounded and the dimensions are 23.6 x 15 x 9.2 inches. The nylon pick up strap at one end is secured with a metal rivet, but is very thin and although comfortable to the hand, may not stand up to long-term use before fraying.I like the lightweight box, the firmness of the PU cover and it's ability to be cleaned easily. With the quality of the entirety of the equipment, I'm unsure why they seemed to skimp on the handle. However, overall, if you're looking for a great Pilates Reformer sitting box, definitely take a look at DWKWE. I highly recommend!

I’m slowly adding things to my home studio and thought this box would be a good option. It’s very solid and feels well made but isn’t too heavy and cumbersome. I like that it has handles on both sides for easy movement. The ‘leather’ material it’s covered with is very soft and it has a decent amount of padding to it so it’s very comfortable in a number of positions, and also easy to wipe clean. It has definitely increased the variety of positions and exercises I can do on my reformer, but not as much as I’d hoped. My one complaint is that it’s really short. I’m 5’8”, and this doesn’t allow my legs to sit at the proper height and position for some exercises and it feels very awkward to use at times. It needs to be a food 2 inches taller than it is. Otherwise I find the size adequate and it’s functional over all, just needed to be a bit taller.

This pilates reformer box is perfect to level up your pilates practice. It is extremely well-made and sturdy. It is covered with light padding and a smooth material. It is a standard size that fits most reformers. It works both parallel and perpendicular on my reformer. It adds a nice balance challenge, especially when prone or supine. Great price for the quality!

The Pilates Reformer Sitting Box is a great addition to my practice. It's sturdy and looks to be well-constructed. It provides excellent support during my workouts. The wooden structure feels reassuring, but the high-density sponge cushioning on top gives me a soft, supportive surface, which allows me to focus on my form. The soft PU leather surface is not only comfortable but also makes cleaning a breeze. I also appreciate the handle on the side, which makes it super easy to carry. I took nearly 500 Pilates classes for over 2 1/2 years and just quit a month ago because I moved further away earlier this year and got tired of scrambling to get there. I got a Total Gym Fit Ultimate machine that includes a Pilates kit. I love the machine but while the Pilates kit is great it’s not ideal. So I bought a Pilates reformer and it arrives next week. I did not think the Pilates box would be good on the other machine and I miss box work on the reformer and mat. This box seems very well constructed. The material seems like it will hold up over time. It’s stable but not too heavy. It seems to be similar in height and width to the Pilates studio boxes but shorter in length by a few inches. I’m 5’9” so it may work best for seated work and kneeling work on and next to the reformer and for planks….bridge work and so on. I need to see how it does for laying on it on the mat on my back and on the reformer on my stomach. I will find out next week. It only has two handles instead of three but I think that’s fine. I will update this review if there are any issues that arise but for now it seems great! UPDATE - box works well on my reformer and for exercises with it next to the reformer. ✅ However, I think it needs to be taller for work with the one foot strap....and longer. I can lay on it on my stomach but barely....I think it is 6" or so shorter in length than a studio box. For shorter people, that should not be a problem...
