It took a little time to figure out how to make them work. It would be nice to have some directions as most people wouldn’t know to use the Allen wrench to first open the locks on the pin lock so that the backing on your pin can be pushed into the lock. Once that is done then turn the Allen wrench and the pin will stay in place.

I work at a place where our uniform is a lanyard and we get to customize them with whatever pins we like, but there's always a risk that you may lose them. A customer told me about these once and I am so happy I actually remembered to order them.Firstly, you get a lot for the price and I used basically all of them, since some of my pins have 2-3 spokes for security. You also get two small Allen wrenches, or hex keys, which i appreciate.They are pretty easy to use, though I will say if you have a hard time dealing with small things or have trouble with hand dexterity, it may be tricky. You just have to un-tighten the screw inside the pinkeeper with the allen wrench, place it onto the back of your pins, and then tighten it up until it doesn't turn anymore. As long as you make sure the spoke is securely inside before you tighten it, they aren't going ANYWHERE.I've had these for over a year and put them onto my lanyard the day I got them and I haven't lost any of my pins due to them being loose. The only one I have lost was because the enamel art fell off, but the pinkeeper still held onto the back of the the pin.I'd definitely say order these, even if you aren't wearing them daily. I also have some pennants that I put my extra pins on, and I think these would be great for when moving so that you don't lose pins inside of boxes or in cars, etc. Also if you cosplay or larp, you could use these for your decorative pins so you don't loose them in storage.

These pin locks work very well to secure pins in place. I have a number of pins that came with pin locks that pop open easily, and some that had lost the original lock. I bought these locks to secure my collectible pins to hats and clothing. They work. I’ll be ordering more. One caveat, there is a tiny screw that secures pins in place. It is tiny! Keep it in mind when securing your pins.

My husband's leather vest has many pins and these work well to lock them on. they are a bit larger than some I bought at the Harley Davidson shop, but the price is much more reasonable too! just be aware they will weigh a bit more.

Absolutely love these pin locks. It's actually my second time buying them because my first time around I made the mistake of only buying enough for my Disney pins and showing my husband (who's active duty military) how solid they were. While putting together his dress uniform he used all of my extras (I'd bought a set of 15 the first time) and asked if I could please buy more! This time around I made no mistakes and bought a total of 60 of these little locks. They hold great, I've only ever had one fall off and it was only because the pin on my work lanyard got snagged on something. They are very easy to use and they include an allan wrench with each bag of 15. My only complaints are accidentally unscrewing the little screw too far and having it fall out as the screw in each of them is quite small. The only other minor downside is if you have a lot of pins to secure it does take a little bit more time than those traditional butterfly pin backs. But personally, I find it easier to secure it with these the first time rather than needing to remeasure where something goes on my husband's uniform because it fell off during normal wear.

I was browsing around for pin locks since I love pins on my jackets and backpacks but really hate loosing them. I came across these and the price was awesome for 30 of them! I just received them so I YouTube how to put them on and I’m satisfied! Definitely recommend! *The plus plus is that the company that makes them is a Veteran owned company so you’re supporting Hero’s!

I waited to post my review until I used these pin locks. Well I just returned from Disneyland and Universal Studio Hollywood were i used these pin locks on my Disney pins and other special pins that I attached to my backpack. I did not have any issues with lost pins. They worked wonderfully and exceeded all my expectations. I'm so glad I purchased these pin locks. Thank you for this great product.
