Important Note:
-Please remove probes from soil and wipe clean after each use.
-Don't measure liquids especially water, it is only used to test the soil moisture or PH.
-Choose a soft soil, forbid to force the metal probe into the hard soil. Please don't put the probe pen for a long time in the soil (no more than one hour), otherwise it will damage the pen.
-Don't use the measuring pen near the magnetic material and away from other metal objects.
-Don't hold the metal part of the measuring pen by hand. Fingerprints have grease that reduces the accuracy of their measurements.
-Don't try to remove the metal tip of the tester. If the tip becomes loose, tighten it clockwise

This is the second device of this type I've owned (the other one got lost somewhere in my garage). I use it when it's time to water my plants, so I don't overwater. Seems to give accurate readings... only complaint is I wish the dial data was in larger print.

I had one of these (though now I’m not sure it was the same brand) for the longest time but it broke. I was confident buying another one, but realize the moisture sensor is completely dead :(Too late for a refund-A bit of a bummer.******UPDATE******seller reached out and gave a full refund, which I really appreciate.For that, I went from 1 to 4 stars. I struggled between 3 or 4 stars, but they didn’t have to do that and customer service is so lacking these days.I mean, I can’t ask for much more-Thanks :)

The moisture meter has worked well for measuring moisture in my house plants. I can't tell that the pH meter actually works. It reads the same in water and vinegar.

Got this to help monitor soil moisture levels and drainage efficacy for various plants at home. For me the light meter is an extra perk which I’ve come to rely on now as much as the moisture probe. Doesn’t get easier than this and it works well!

I used this mainly for the moisture reading. Easy to do spot checks on my garden beds and worked fine until last week. Needle stays pegged to the dry reading and does not move, even when I put it in soggy soil, or even a cup of water.

sollte zur Ermittlung der Feuchtigkeit in meinem Palmenpflanzgefäß sein - Metall Spitze blieb beim herausziehen im Boden stecken und die Verbindungsdrähte ca 5cm lang wurden sichtbar - selber Reparatur ging nicht - wollte dieses chinesische Produkt ca.40.€ zurückschicken ging nicht Händler bot mir 20.€ also die Hälfte als Rückerstattung an - habe zähneknirschend angenommen 20.-€ Verlust und das Erdfeuchtigkeitsgerät in den Müll geworfen mir scheint die Chinapualität nicht gut großer Pfusch

It took me a little practice to get the swing of how this works. So far the water readings are on point. Apparently it does not test for the plant light because the meter does not recognize it. But I am happy with knowing when to water my plants.
