Using another test strip and API chemical test methods I get a pH between 7.4 and 7.6. These strips constantly read 6.5. They look nice in the trash bin.

I bought these for a simple quick pH test that I wouldn't need my meter for but unfortunately every water I test results in a 6.5 pH. I double checked these strip results against spa 7-way strips and a pH meter but these strips always came out different. After checking spa water, distilled water, tap water and hydroponics water all came out as 6.5 pH with these strips and those results are not accurate. Don't buy these if you want accurate pH readings.

Easy to read. Good fair gradients. easy to handle. Consistent results, check with other doctor office product. All in all, a good product at a fair price. Fast delivery.

I use this product as an affordable quick check of the pH for the nutrient water I use for my garden, greenhouse, hydroponic and aquaponic systems. Although I have a "proper" pH meter, maintaining the electrode is a hassle for this purpose, and honestly, its accuracy is overkill. The pH detection range of these strips is ideal for growing plants since most plants respond best to a pH of between 5.5 and 7.

I am a retired industrial chemist and have used just about every type of pH measurement devise there is and usually stay away from test strips. While the strips will give you an approximate range of pH value, it is often hard to determine a specific value. With these strips the indicator colors are easy the use and each pair of colors is clearly specific to a specific pH value. Great tool!

The test strips work fairly well, the two colors do not always match up for the indicated pH value. This requires an 'interpolation' of the test results. The test strips do provide a consistent reading when double checking the results. If one needs more accurate values, then a digital pH test meter would provide more accurate results.

These seem to work really well - I have nothing to 'calibrate' against but based on the readings I assume they're doing what they're supposed to do. It changes colors instantaneously and the way it's set-up makes it impossible to screw up interpreting the results. Easy to test a liquid pH from 4.5 to 9. Great for the price.

I use two different brands of pool test strips for a number of pool chemistry parameters. The both work pretty well except for pH. I don't really understand why but they both diverge by a significant margin. These pH strips are great - easy to read, and hopefully, right on the money. They must be working properly because my pool is perfect!!
