Helps take the edge off the chatter but it doesn’t feel spongy or weak. I like the rise as well. My last bar was just the stock alloy bar that came on my ‘21 Norco Fluid FS. I like this bar enough that I kept it and put it on my new Stumpjumper

Only shows orange lettering as an option which is what I wanted and received an all black handlebar. Looks nice, and seems to be quality product, but not what I ordered
