Installed on marine radio mounted under roof in my KRX trail machine. Clarity and volume good.

This thing's quite small, but it's much clearer than the tiny speaker in my VHF that's buried under my dashboard. Important to note, this is a four ohm speaker which certain radios (notably "Standard Horizon" ones) require... most external speakers seem to be eight ohms.

The fact that it is made from Stainless Steel is of major importance for longevity. Easily installed and plug in to radio for ease of connection made install quick and simple.

I chose this because of price and size. It is exactly what I needed. It works very well. My radio is mounted in an electronics box on my t-top this allows you to hear the radio without having to keep the door open.

Great speaker. Excellent volume and clarity. My radio is located in the center console slot on my Mako 20. The radio speaker was totally inaudible when underway. This baby sits of the top of the CC deck and blasts! Wish I'd gotten this years ago. If you have an external speaker jack on your radio installation is a clinch. If you don't have a jack open you radio case and wire the speaker directly into your radio...it's worth the effort, and the at $23 in May of 2015 the price was great.McB

This little speaker works great. My radio is mounted just inside the hatch and is impossible to hear when running at speed. I mounted the speaker on the top of the dash and now can hear the VHF at all speeds, even when the top is up which reflects motor noise. Very easy to mount, used the included sticky tape, ran the cable through the existing hole for the fish finder cable and plugged into the VHF. Simple as that.

I'm not sure if I didn't see or read dimensions of this speaker, but was shocked at how small it is. Overall it's about the size of 1/2 a deck of playing cards. ( I was imagining it to be maybe 2-3x that size. But, I plugged it up and found it adequate for my 26 ft center console. All in all not a bad tiny speaker.

With my VHF radio mounted neatly under my Boston Whaler console, I always had difficulty hearing it, especially when underway. This little external speaker solved that issue. I can hear you now!CONs: Magnetic interference with my compass was an issue in selecting where to locate it. I finally accepted a 2-degree compass error as the best I could do and still put it on my small console top -- 'way over to one corner. I don't see why they don't make these to allow for near-compass installations. Also, the mounting knob-screws are dinky but work.
