FAST, Easy installation. One screw. Literally better than original design. The screw stays in this new part so you can't drop screw in pool during install or maintenance, bulb change. Just buy this. It is cheap and it works!

I'd previously used a similar pool light wedge but it didn't last long as I found the nut part of the unit was not stainless steel. It corroded away in a short period of time leaving a slimy mess in the light cavity of the pool. This unit has all stainless steel metallic parts so I'm expecting a long life from it.

I used this on my 6 inch spa light.. it work really well. In my case was a bit tricky to reinstall the fixture because of how much wiring I needed to coil along with the wedge... I'm very happy with this product. I bought an extra one for my 10 inch pool light because I'm pretty certain that it won't be long before I need it. If it works as well as it did on my spa lightfor such an inexpensive and funtional product .. then you can't go wrong..

My pool light is older and I found it floating in the pool. After trying to place it back in the niche and screwing it back in place, I noticed the screw hole was damaged. As a result it was not tightening and I called a pool service guy who recommended this product. After ordering it , install was very smooth and this little device is able to keep my light secured in place like normal.
